Banana Hazelnut Cheesecake

I definitely have the passion for baking from my mom! Every week she bakes two or three cakes. I also wanted to bake a cake again and I created this delicious hazelnut/banana cheesecake! Doesn’t that sound tempting?

For this recipe you need:

Cake base:

  • 30g spelt flour
  • 50g egg white
  • 10g chocolate hazelnut whey

Cake filling:

  • 100g low fat quark
  • 10g vanilla whey
  • 50g banana
  • hazelnuts

Utensils:

  • 12cm cake tin
  • whisk and bowl or food processor

Mix all ingredients for the cake base and fill into a 12cm cake tin. Bake at 160ºC for 10 minutes. Blend the ingredients for the filling. Remove the base from the oven and pour the filling on top. Crush the hazelnuts and place on top. Bake for another 20 minutes.
